As Asset Manager Renewables you will be responsible for: 

  • Supporting the active management of Tion’s international portfolio of onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects across Europe, including technical and commercial performance aspects

  • Development, integration, and operation of a technical monitoring platform for Tion’s active and future portfolio

  • Monitoring and in-depth data analysis of individual asset performances and project risks, covering both technical availability and commercial KPIs, as well as actively exploring optimization measures

  • Coordination of external asset management service providers, including regular calls, day-to-day alignments, and support required decision-making for the managing directors

  • Ensuring an excellent and professional asset onboarding process and construction management of new assets acquired by Tion

  • Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders and building relationships with asset managers and other contractors

  • Compliance and claim supervision of all relevant project contracts (including operational, commercial, financing, and grid-related agreements) in close collaboration with external service providers)

  • Supporting the build-up of an in-house asset operations team

  • Coordination of the asset-specific budgets and liquidity planning, including debt service, reserve accounts, covenant monitoring, and cash upstreaming recommendations and executions)

  • Close collaborations with other Tion departments regarding the overall budget and achievements of profitability goals

  • The possibility to become MD of selected onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage projects

Job requirements

For this role, ideally, you bring:

An impeccable academic background in engineering, finance, or economics (or other related to renewable energy)

At least five years of work experience, with at least two years working as an Asset Manager in the renewable energy sector

A thorough understanding of energy markets (across Europe, including subsidy schemes) and the overall project management of renewable energy assets

Excellent understanding of commercial and technical asset management, and the technical and commercial aspects of Wind, Solar PV, and BESS

Experience working with SCADA data

Strong understanding of financial statements, liquidity planning and cash flow modelling

Prior experience at a developer/EPC/O&M, asset manager, energy trader, or project financing bank is considered a plus

Experience with complex corporate structures and connected taxation effects are considered a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish

Italian, German, Dutch, or Polish is considered a plus
